Job description
Purpose of the Job:
As a professional Trainer in HR team, you will take ownership of the pillar training programs. You will be responsible for designing, planning, delivering and evaluating training programs to meet the company's learning and development business objectives.
Key tasks will be:
I. Learning Design
- Consult and obtain client's training needs, understand skills gaps and make solid training recommendations to address the needs requirements
- Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs
- Assist L&D (Learning & Development) Manager in carrying out company wide annual needs analysis
- Have a good sense of instructional design in training programs and able to determine appropriate delivery methodologies, and apply the most effective training technology
- Consult with L&D manager for program design when appropriate
- Develop training schedule for implementation on own programs offerings with the overall L&D training plan
- Use the knowledge of adult learning theory in design and delivery of training programs
- Write scripts, develop test items and create course materials when necessary
II. Learning Delivery
- Plan, prepare and deliver the assigned PD, MD and new employee orientation as to the training plan
- Provide flexible learning and assessment which will meet the learning needs of a range of students
- Deliver training programmes to clients either in a group classroom setting, or on line through e-learning or virtual learning environment
- Support and coach learners in class or after class as necessary
- Responsible for high quality delivery of own programs offering
- Consolidate and evaluate the delivery of each of the training programs
- Prepare high quality learning environment and resources in training delivery
Other learning duties will be:
- Liaise with external course providers and obtain cost effective proposals
- Execute Ad hoc training projected to L&D as assigned
Qualifications & experience required:
- More than 3 years' experience in training and facilitation
- Very good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Demonstrate self leadership and professionalism
- Proficient of powerpoint and software application
- Service oriented
Skills expected:
- Understand and apply adult learning and training methodologies
- Work effectively with teams, internal and external
- Demonstrate ability to compare and articulate alternative options and approaches with minimal management guidance
- Good interpersonal skills
- Creative and effective facilitation in face-to-face and virtual learning
- Good problem solving and analytical skills to assess options to client's needs
Required           
• Bachelor's Degree
• English: Fluent
